Real Food Blends on Amazon Prime Day!

Amazon Prime Day is upon us and if you are a caregiver of someone who is tube fed or are tube fed yourself and you have an Amazon Prime membership and you use Real Food Blends or want to try it, this is the time to buy it!

(and if you don't have a Prime membership but want to get one click here: Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial)

Real Food Blends:
RFB is a great product for those who want to add actual food into their diet. It is a commercially produced, blenderized food product that comes in 4 different meal varieties. It can be fed by syringe or by pump. With a 3 year shelf life, it's a great option for traveling if you do blenderized diet, or for food storage in case of emergencies that would prevent the use of a blender. Their Amazon Prime Day price is $55 per case, which is less than if you order it directly from AND includes free 2 day shipping!

The Instant Pot is also supposed to be one of the deals for Prime Day. It is great for anyone who does blended diet. It's a great way to cook larger batches of things like grains and legumes that can be refrigerated or frozen in portions and added to blends a portion at a time. It's also a really great tool for making things like nutritious bone broth (which I've done a few times and it turns out great!) and meats that are soft enough to blend easily.

Aside from blended diet, I have found it to be a great way for me, as a busy mom with a bunch of kids and a lot of appointments and activities, to still get dinners on the table quickly even if I don't do a great job of planning ahead. It is by far my favorite small kitchen appliance and I've even thought about getting a second one.
